Can Elizabeth Music Group Publishing represent my share if my co-writer lives in another country?

Yes. You and your co-writer can live in different countries, and Elizabeth Music Group Publishing can represent the publishing interest you control, subject to your agreements.

International collaborations are common. One songwriter may be in the United States, another in Nigeria, and the recording artist in the United Kingdom. The location of each contributor does not change the need to agree on composition splits and identify each writer correctly.

What matters is having the legal names, relevant PRO memberships and IPI numbers, confirmed percentages, and information about any publishers already representing the other writers. Elizabeth Music Group Publishing can then pursue eligible worldwide publishing collection for the rights we represent.

We represent musicians across multiple countries, including Tanzania, India, Nigeria, Canada, and the United States. That experience is useful when songs cross borders.

Before releasing the collaboration, put the agreed splits in writing and exchange complete writer details. If the song is already out, send the release link and the information you have so we can identify what still needs confirmation.
